After reading the prequel One with the Rebel I was excited to read this one and let me just say I wasn’t disappointed, this book was everything I expected and so much more. The Rebel is the continuation of Eden Wynn and Holt Rossi’s story. Eden has taken over the ownership of her beloved grandfathers Boston Titans Hockey Team but not everyone is happy to have a woman in charge and after receiving threats her management team decide she needs security to keep her safe. A meeting with the head of the security company has her coming face to face once again with Holt, the man she walked away from all those years ago. Holt is determined to keep Eden safe and is sure the feelings they once had will not be an issue but when you are in close contact with someone who haunts your dreams, a relationships as always going to be on the cards but that also means complications are bound to arise especially when Eden’s ex S now playing for the team...... I fell hard and fast for Holt, he stole a piece of my heart as I got to know the man who has succeeded against all odds. Eden is the woman we all want in our corner so together they become the couple you can’t help loving and will always relate too. This love story is about friendship and loyalty and I’m so excited for the next book in this wonderful series.

It should also be mentioned Eden and Holt have known each other since college and may or may not have some residual chemistry. This book is a hockey romance, that is hot and steamy. It was an addictive read that had me hooked from the first page. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 4.5 stars The Rebel is a scintillating, forbidden story. It follows on from the prequel One Night with a Rebel and I honestly couldn’t wait to dive into this book. Eden is now the owner of the Boston Titans hockey team, thanks to her grandfather’s passing and with potential for threats, Holt is now her security detail. These two have a past from college. But with Eden now his boss, can these two suppress any lingering feelings from said past and not give into temptation? There is definitely an undeniable chemistry between them but with her ex a member of the hockey team, will difficulties arise? This book was fantastic. There is a definite burdening friendship growing between Eden and Holt and the way they open up to each other is of great support! I loved everything about their blossoming friendship but is there a possibility for them to be together considering their personal and professional lives? An absolutely amazing second chance romance.

Having recently read the prequel One Night With The Rebel, I couldn’t wait to read The Rebel as I was intrigued by Eden Wynn and Holt Rossi’s initial story and was anxious to see what Kendall Ryan had in store for them. Eden is in need of security after recently taking over as the owner of the Boston Titans hockey team and team management feel that it would be a good idea to get security as her ownership has caused some uproar. Meeting the owner of the security company, she comes face to face with Holt, a man she walked away from six years ago. They both have baggage and yet the attraction that was there, is still sizzling beneath the surface. Add in that her ex is now playing on her team and issues are sure to arise. Now Holt is handling security for Eden, they are constantly in each others company. Despite themselves they are drawn into a relationship which if it comes to light will cause complications for both of them. I really love Holt, a totally swoon worthy man who has had a hard life, but has made a success of his life. Eden was much easier to relate to in this book and I felt that they made a great couple. I enjoyed the journey that they travelled to get to their happily ever after and Kendall Ryan even managed to turn my opinion of Eden’s ex Alex around which was a surprise. The love was based on a solid friendship and the members of the team who showed them such support added to my enjoyment.
